The Wisconsin Elections Commission occasionally publishes manuals and other guidance documents that interpret state law. In accordance with 2017 Wisconsin Act 369, those guidance documents will generally be open for public comments for 21 days following publication on this website.
The WEC website now has a page listing new guidance documents: Publications Open for Public Comment. From the pages hosting those guidance documents, users may click on a link to send an email to the WEC with their comments.
The WEC also invites public comments on any of the documents on its website. Just send us an email here, or email the Help Desk at @email with the subject line "Public Comment". Please include the name of the document you are referencing.
