Nomination Paper Filing for the SPRING SPECIAL ELECTION 2021

Nomination papers must be completed and submitted to the Wisconsin Elections Commission by Friday, January 8, 2021, for the 2021 Spring Special Election for Assembly District 89 and State Senate District 13. Please read more information about nomination paper filing here. Please note that the deadline for the regular Spring Election was Tuesday, January 5 at 5pm.

Nomination papers may be submitted to the Commission in the following ways:

By U.S. Mail or Delivery

Candidates may submit original nomination papers via U.S. Mail or a package delivery company.

  • U.S. Mail: Wisconsin Elections Commission, P.O. Box 7984, Madison, WI 53707-7984
  • Delivery: Wisconsin Elections Commission, 212 E. Washington Ave., 3rd Floor, Madison, WI 53703. 

In-Person

Candidates or their representatives may submit nomination papers in-person at the Wisconsin Elections Commission office.

Preparing to File:

Appointments are available on a walk-in basis weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please plan extra time if you are planning on turning in your papers on January 8th as there may be a wait.
