Deadline Approaching for Spring Election Candidates
MADISON, WI – The deadline is approaching for candidates running for office in the 2018 Spring Election to file their paperwork. Michael Haas, interim administrator of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, urged candidates to file nomination papers well before the deadline at 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 2. “With the upcoming holidays, don’t wait until the last minute to file,” said Haas. “If there are problems with your paperwork, you won’t want to be scrambling to collect more signatures at the deadline.”
