The attached complaint was received by the Wisconsin Elections Commission on Friday, September 25. It is currently being reviewed by the Commission.
The Administrator determined that the complaint is not in proper form as the complainant is not an elector in the City of Madison and is therefore not a proper party to filing a complaint with the WEC under Wis. Stat. § 5.06. Additionally, the complainant alleged a violation of the Hatch Act, which is not within the Commission’s statutory authority to enforce. Therefore, the complaint was returned without prejudice pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 5.06 and Wis. Admin. Code § EL 20.04(1) and (2).
