WEC staff is testing five pieces of equipment from Dominion Voting Systems:

  • ImageCast Evolution (polling place tabulator and ADA-compliant ballot-marking device)
  • ImageCast X Ballot Marking Device (ADA-compliant ballot-marking device)
  • ImageCast X DRE (ADA compliant voting device with Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail)
  • ImageCast Precinct 2 (polling place scanner and tabulator)
  • ImageCast Central (central count optical ballot scanner)

The Wisconsin Voting Equipment Review Panel will meet at the above time and place to view a vendor demonstration of the system and provide feedback of the system to WEC staff. A public demonstration will follow.

Under Administrative Code Chapter 7, the Commission may use a panel of local election officials and electors to assist in the review of the voting system. The WEC is asking the Voting Equipment Review Panel to serve this purpose. Input from the review panel will be made part of staff’s recommendation that will be submitted to the Commission for consideration at its June 2, 2021 meeting.

The Public Demonstration and Voting Equipment Review Panel meeting are open to the public. Direct participation in the Voting Equipment Review Panel meeting will be limited to Review Panel members. Each meeting will adhere to Dane County public health guidance and masks will be required for all attendees.
