With the November General Election certified, the post-election period provides a good opportunity to reiterate to voters that Wisconsin’s election system is secure, accurate, and transparent, a fact that election officials across Wisconsin demonstrated on Nov. 5.
To assist you in communicating to your voters about the strength of Wisconsin’s election system, the Wisconsin Elections Commission’s Public Information Office is making available a new voter resource, “How Wisconsin Delivers Secure Elections.”
The resource is a one-page handout that lists 12 key points that show how Wisconsin’s election system, through various safeguards and practices, delivers election outcomes that Wisconsin voters can trust every time. The WEC encourages you to consider printing out the handout and making it available to your voters in your office or other location that works for your jurisdiction, such as municipal or county facilities or libraries. You can also download a digital version and make a copy available on your website or distribute it on your social media accounts.
You may also want to consider making the handout or download available to external organizations that might be interested in distributing the handout, such as local businesses or other organizations.
The voter resource is attached on this web page and available at the following link: https://elections.wi.gov/resources/brochures/how-wisconsin-delivers-secure-elections
