Wisconsin Elections Commission staff will select the contests and reporting units to be audited by local election officials as part of the 2022 post-election voting equipment audit at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. The selection may be attended via Zoom using the link below.
Wis. Stat. § 7.08(6) requires the Wisconsin Elections Commission to audit each voting system that is used in Wisconsin following each General Election. The six-member Commission approved the process for the 2022 audit during its July 22 and September 21 meetings. Though the Commissioners will not participate in the selection, it is possible that a quorum of Commissioners may be present as attendees in the Zoom meeting, and notice is hereby given that the selection may constitute a meeting of the Wisconsin Elections Commission. However, no items are on an agenda for Commission consideration, nor will action be taken by the Commissioners.
