Working with a local advertising agency, the Wisconsin Elections Commission has produced a comprehensive package of voter education materials for the 2020 election and beyond for use by local election officials and any other groups or individuals working in the field of voter outreach. In other words, please use this accurate, accessible and free information to help you communicate with voters and the media about voting. We've produced a webinar explaining how to use the tools.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more voters are choosing to vote by absentee ballot this year. That is why the videos, fact sheets, social media posts, website banners, and articles focus on how to vote by absentee ballot, as well as the many protections in place to ensure the accuracy and security of absentee ballots. Additional materials about voting in person during the pandemic are in production and will be available before the election.
These new voter education tools join a large body of resources the WEC has produced over the years to help voters understand all aspects of the voting process, including Wisconsin's Photo ID law. A full list is available at the bottom of this page.
