Commission staff are pleased to announce the new Election Reconciliation entity is now available in WisVote. We want to thank you for your patience as we worked through a few unexpected issues after launch. We will allow time for clerks to review and complete their reconciliations and will not begin sending reminder notices on September 13th.
The Election Reconciliation process (Inspectors’ Statement and Election Reconciliation entities) replace WEDCS and the EL-190 reports. Please refer to the attached documents for instructions on completing your reconciliation in WisVote. These instructions can also be found in WisVote FAQs under “Where did WEDCs Go”. Reporting units marked as complete will appear under the Completed Elections Reconciliations view.
When reviewing your reconciliation forms, do not use the Voter or EDR Comment fields unless it is to provide information about why those specific fields do not balance. If your numbers balance, a comment is not needed. Please keep in mind these comments will be publicly viewable as part of election statistics reporting.
