Click here to take the Electronic Poll Book survey:
The G.A.B. currently has two open surveys: one is to help students who are working on cost-benefit analysis studies on two policy issues – online voter registration and voter list maintenance; the second survey is to help Staff develop requirements for approval of electronic poll books. Thank you to those of you that have already completed one or both of these surveys. If you have not yet completed both of these surveys, we would greatly appreciate it if you could take just a few moments to do so by Friday, November 1, 2013.
These surveys and projects should help develop policies that could potentially save your municipality or county considerable costs. They will also help staff provide fact-based analysis to the Board and the Legislature about the policy options under consideration.
While we normally reserve high priority communications for election administration tasks that definitely require your prompt attention, we have used that classification in this case because we believe it is important that you know of this opportunity to provide feedback, and that the responses must be received by the beginning of November in order for them to have an impact on policy decisions being considered by the Board and the Legislature.
If you have any questions about these surveys or either project, please contact Brian Bell, Elections Data Manager at [email protected], or (608) 261-2011.
