2018 Assembly District 58 Special Election
On November 1, 2017, the Governor issued an executive order calling a special election for State Assembly District 58 to fill the seat held by the late Representative Robert Gannon.
Election Day: Tuesday, January 16, 2018
Primary Election: Tuesday, December 19, 2017 (if necessary)
November 1 is the first day to circulate nomination papers, which are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the offices of the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Candidates must submit a minimum of 200 signatures, but not more than 400 signatures.
In the Candidate Tracking By Office attachment below, candidates who filed by the deadline have a date in the column under "Nomination Papers Date." If no signature total is posted for a candidate, staff is still counting signatures. An updated report will be posted later in the evening on November 21 once staff has reviewed all ballot access documents.
