The Wisconsin Elections Commission recognizes the importance of election security and how it is essential to administering elections that are free, fair and efficient. Given the nature of how elections are administered in our state, we also acknowledge that providing security training from a state level to 1,853 individual municipalities is not feasible. County clerks have connections and relationships with local municipalities and better understand their individual needs. As a result, the Wisconsin Elections Commission is proposing a partnership with county clerks to help keep elections safe in Wisconsin by serving as Regional Representatives for election security. We are confident that we can all succeed with Wisconsin election security if we all come together – and the Wisconsin Elections Commission cannot do this without your help.

As we formulate our approach, we want to be sure that we are incorporating feedback and suggestions from you to make the process as helpful and practical as possible! To help aid in that process, we request that you complete the survey by clicking on the link below no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018.

We appreciate any feedback you can provide and look forward to working together with your office to make our elections even more secure.
