At a special meeting today, the Wisconsin Elections Commission appointed Meagan Wolfe as interim administrator. We will be submitting Meagan’s name to the Senate for confirmation in the Spring 2019 Session of the Legislature.

The other Commissioners and I are unanimous in our belief that Meagan can best provide continuity to the agency as we prepare for the 2018 fall election cycle, and beyond.

I am sure most of you know Meagan by now. For those who do not, Meagan has served the agency as Assistant Administrator since April 2017, managing the WisVote staff and IT team and supervising the implementation of initiatives related to WisVote and other IT applications of the Commission. She has also headed the Commission’s efforts on elections security planning. In addition, Meagan assisted with the overall management and leadership of the WEC staff.

Please see the attached news release for more information about the Commission’s decision to appoint Meagan.
