The Wisconsin Elections Commission will hold a special meeting Monday afternoon, November 20, starting at 1:00 p.m.  The special meeting will have an abbreviated agenda focusing on the staff’s election security planning as well as a report regarding the agency’s reduced staff level and recommendations regarding our staffing approach and managing our tasks and responsibilities going forward.  The Commission will also review the Staff Update which it did not have time to address at the September meeting.  Aside from the election security report, the agenda does not include items directly affecting local election officials or election procedures.

The full meeting packet is posted at this link:

Any member of the public wishing to speak related to items on the agenda or under the Commission’s jurisdiction may make a personal appearance at the beginning of the meeting.  Because of the abbreviated agenda and time available for the meeting, the Commission may limit the time allotted for public comments.  Any written comments can be sent to elections@wi.gov, and will be distributed to Commission members if they are received before the meeting.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding items on the Commission’s agenda.
