The next regular meeting of the Wisconsin Elections Commission will be June 20, 2017, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Commission’s offices.  We will post the Commission’s meeting packet on our website when it is completed later next week.  In the meantime, I wanted to communicate some of the more significant agenda items to local election officials in case you wanted to make plans to either attend the meeting or provide written input prior to the meeting.  The main decision items on the agenda are the following:

  • Voting Equipment Testing and Approval of ES&S EVS 5.2.2.0 and EVS 5.3.2.0.
  • Electronic Poll Books
  • Post-Election Voting Equipment Audit
  • Legislative Agenda

You can look for the full meeting packet to be posted on our website June 15 or 16 at this link:  http://elections.wi.gov/about/meetings/2017/june.  Per the Commission’s usual practice, personal appearances will be allowed at the beginning of the Commission meeting for any member of the public wishing to speak about items on the agenda or under the Commission’s jurisdiction.  Any written comments sent to elections@wi.gov will be distributed to Commission members if they are received before the day of the meeting.
