This memorandum is simply a reminder that the Wisconsin Elections Commission will hold a regular meeting on March 14, 2017 in its Madison office beginning at 10:00 a.m.  The Commission will consider several items of interest to local election officials and I wanted to provide you with some advance notice in the event you would like to attend or provide public comments.

The following items will be included on the agenda for the March 14, 2017 meeting:

  • Presidential Recount Recap
  • Online Voter Registration Update
  • Electronic Poll Books
  • Four-Year Maintenance and ERIC List Maintenance Processes
  • Election Night Results Reporting
  • WEC Legislative Agenda
  • Legislative Update

We will post the agenda and meeting materials after they are finalized and by March 10, 2017.  Your input is welcome regarding these or any other election matters.  If you wish to submit written testimony, please bring 10 copies to the Commission meeting or email written comments to elections@wi.gov for distribution to Commissioners.  Please feel free to contact me at 608-266-0136 or Michael.haas@wi.gov if you have any questions regarding these agenda items or the Commission meeting.
